Pamela Trail is a Fine Arts graduate of Colorado State University, inspired by her mother and grandmother to continue a legacy of strong female artists. Rooted in Colorado, shaped by years near the ocean, and renewed by Idaho’s rugged beauty, she carries the essence of each place into her work.
For Pamela, painting is a meditative and exploratory practice that allows her to process emotion, follow instinct, and reconnect with her imagination. Working primarily in acrylic and pencil, her layered compositions blur the line between abstraction and realism, often taking shape as semi-abstract landscapes infused with memory and feeling.

Her background in graphic design informs her sensitivity to composition, balance, and visual rhythm, while her intuitive process keeps the work expressive, loose, and emotionally driven. Now based in Boise, Idaho, her paintings have been exhibited in galleries and juried exhibitions and are held in private collections across the country. Her work has also received multiple awards.
